In a secluded corner of a crowded place,
She stands still and unseen with her fading trace.
Nor her tear falls neither her voice cries,
But a storm resides beneath her eyes.
Enjoys her travel through miles,
While masking her pain through smiles.
Lost her world when she's barely grown,
Enduring pain and grief all alone.
Hands that should hold her tight,
Chose to dim her inner light.
Love was measured not by need,
But the weight of a different seed.
With her deeds, other's expectations meet,
But, she pays high for her good deeds.
With her each step stared by a thousand eyes,
That turn her truth into whispered lies.
She's judged with no appeal,
While her silence is louder than what they feel.
She walks through age in the nobbled skin,
While holding the strength she carries within.
With lifeless smiles and futile grace,
Her soul learnt to hide her face.
Yet, in the void, her silence whispers,
With a flame that belong to hers.
Not for the love that's never shown,
But for the strength she calls her own.
No blame she sheds, no names she utters,
Just lives the fight that silence holds.
A girl they chose not to believe,
Still dreams more than what they live.
Through the battle, the world may dim her light,
But the sun in her, sparks the night bright,
With her courage braves the dark.
